I'm Back from my surgeon's office

I saw one of the PA's for Dr. Chin.  She told me that everything looks fine.  She just looked at my incisions.  That was it!  I still feel awful.  I guess time will tell.  Thanks for the support.  I just  hope she is right.  I am going to lay down now.

If it gets bad again, then I would go to the ER and make them figure it out.  Severe pain really is not normal.  Take good care.

I had my RNY on 7/17/08 and have no pain at all. I agree that it does not sound right that you would be feeling pain for nothing.. Lori W

Linda, I hope you are feeling well. I was at the surgeons office yesterday due to severe pain on the left incision. The PA saw me and stated I have a wound infection. It was drained (and is still draining). I feel ALOT better and am now more mobile. I would do as the others suggested and go to the ER if it gets worse. Do you have a fever?
